Alessandro Bertani

Born 1968 in Legnano (Milano), Alessandro Bertani practiced law in Milano until 2005 when he decided to leave his firm and his partners and start working for Emergency (an organisation he knew and supported from the start). Since 2006, he has been a member of the Board of the organisation and in 2009 he became its VP. Given his background in law, he manages all of Emergency’s legal needs and testamentary bequests in its favour as well as acting as an institutional representative in lieu of the President, Ms. Cecilia Strada. In October 2013 he moved to Rome. This year marks his 25th anniversary as a vegetarian as well as Emergency’s 20th anniversary.
